Services Offered

The Westmead Laundromat simplifies the laundry process, offering a convenient and efficient solution. Our self-service facility transforms the traditionally time-consuming task of laundry, often requiring up to 5 hours per week, into a manageable one-hour endeavor. This affords customers approximately 4 additional hours per week for leisure or other pursuits. Our laundromat features a bright, modern environment with user-friendly equipment.

Self Service Laundry

Customers are only required to bring their laundry and payment card; our automated machines will handle the washing and drying processes. Complimentary detergent and fabric softener are provided for all washes. Our facility features 4 extra-large washing machines, each with a capacity of up to 27 kg, equivalent to approximately six standard laundry buckets. Additionally, we offer extra-large dryers with a capacity of up to 34 kg, offering customers a choice of 30-minute or 50-minute drying cycles.

Wash Lab Westmead Laundromat offers competitive commercial laundry rates to local businesses. We cater to a diverse clientele, including, but not limited to, Airbnb operators, cafes, childcare centres, hair and beauty salons, hotels/motels, massage and physiotherapy clinics, restaurants, spas/health clubs/gyms, and sporting clubs. Our services provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional dry cleaning and laundering services.

Machines

Wash Lab Westmead Laundromat utilizes state-of-the-art, LCD touch screen operated washing machines and dryers, designed and manufactured in the United States by the world’s leading provider of laundromat equipment. The multilingual interface offers user options in 35 languages. These machines are engineered for speed, efficiency, sustainability, and economical operation.

Our washing machines offer four wash cycle settings: Normal, Hot, Warm, and Delicate. These machines provide significantly faster wash times compared to domestic washing machines, with cycles starting from 24 minutes. Our largest capacity machines, at 27 kg, can accommodate up to six laundry baskets and are suitable for washing bulky items such as doonas, blankets, duvets, and pillows. Notably, hot water is provided at no additional cost.

Our dryers offer five settings: High, Medium, Low, Delicates, and No Heat. A complimentary anti-wrinkle feature is also provided, which helps prevent creasing after the drying cycle is complete.
